Great experience at Sheba for some quality Arabic food. I had the Fashah mix (which was reminiscent of a beef stew), the hummus with Yemeni bread. The bread is a large piece with great color and texture with an enjoyable amount of chew and tasting much like a good pizza crust. I also had the Basbousa (a small lightly sweet bread/cake) and the Adani Tea (a traditional chai tea, similar to Karak tea common in the Middle East). I would recommend all of them but especially the Adani tea, it’s made with wonderful spices and evaporated or condensed milk with gives it this warm and rich taste with a feeling of peacefulness after enjoying. I will absolutely be back when traveling to this area

It was my first time at this Yemeni restaurant and I ordered the signature Lamb Mandi. It was absolutely amazing! The lamb was perfectly tender and flavorful, practically falling off the bone with the slightest touch, with no fishy smell at all. The spices were rich but didn't overpower the lamb's delicious flavor. The rice was distinct and fragrant, and the accompanying chili sauce was a perfect addition. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and the waiters were friendly and patient in explaining the menu. Overall, I was very satisfied with the experience, and the value for money was excellent! I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Middle Eastern cuisine!

I had a fantastic experience at Sheba Restaurant in International Blvd, Oakland! The customer service was outstanding — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome right away. Our food came out incredibly fast, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The freshly baked bread was a highlight, warm and delicious, and their special black tea was the perfect companion to the meal. I was also impressed by the variety of baklava they offered — each one was rich and authentic. Best of all, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portions. If you’re looking for great food, warm hospitality, and a cozy spot to enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine, Sheba Restaurant is a must-visit!

The food was absolutely delicious! We had the chicken haneeth, lamb haneeth, and chicken galabah. The portions were good for their prices. The bread we got was so fluffy and delicious as well. The servers were so kind and accommodating. If you order a whole lamb plate combo, you can have you and your group have the full yemeni experience eating in the floor! Just because the location isn't the nicest, I suggest parking your car visibly right in front of the restaurant.

"Hands down, the best Yemeni food I've ever had! The flavors were rich and authentic, and the service was top-notch. I loved the warm hospitality and cozy atmosphere. The dishes were generously portioned, and I'd definitely go back for more. Highly recommend trying the saltah and the mandi - they're must-haves!"
